Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Mantis at justmantis.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Luis Herrera ("Operator", "we", "us").
2. Description of Service
Mantis is an AI-powered YouTube analytics platform that provides:
- Video audit and analysis
- Channel breakdown reports
- Script generation
- Trend intelligence
All features use third-party AI providers (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT-4o) to generate analysis. Results are AI-generated and for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional marketing, legal, or business advice.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@justmantis.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Mantis to:
- Submit URLs that you do not have the right to analyze
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits by creating multiple accounts
- Use the service to scrape, resell, or redistribute AI-generated analysis at scale
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems
- Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate our AI prompts or system architecture
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
Violation of this section may result in immediate account termination without refund.
5. Plans and Pricing
Free Plan: Limited monthly usage as specified on the pricing page. No payment required.
Pro Plan: $19/month. Includes higher monthly limits as specified on the pricing page.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will receive 30 days notice before any price increase takes effect.
6. Payments and Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to Pro, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
Your subscription renews automatically each month on your billing date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
7. Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on Pro subscriptions. If you are unsatisfied within 14 days of your initial purchase, contact support@justmantis.com for a full refund. Refund requests after 14 days are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
Refunds are not provided for partial months after cancellation.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Free plan.
9. Usage Limits
Each plan has monthly limits on features as displayed on the pricing page. Limits reset on the 1st of each month. Unused quota does not roll over. We reserve the right to adjust limits with 30 days notice.
10. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
All analysis, scripts, recommendations, and reports generated by Mantis are produced by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output.
11. YouTube and Third-Party Content
By submitting a YouTube URL, you represent that you have the right to submit that content for analysis. We access only publicly available video metadata via the YouTube Data API. We do not host, redistribute, or claim ownership of any YouTube content.
Use of this service must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service at youtube.com/t/terms.
12. Intellectual Property
Your content: You retain all rights to content you submit. By submitting a YouTube URL, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service.
Our content: The Mantis platform, including its design, code, prompts, and branding, is owned by Luis Herrera. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Service.
AI outputs: Analysis and reports generated by the Service are provided to you for your personal or business use. You may not resell or redistribute AI-generated outputs as a standalone product.
13. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LUIS HERRERA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luis Herrera from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected abuse, or non-payment, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
19. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
